It’s hard to believe a little over a month has already flown by since we gathered for the 2026 Suds on the Shore Craft Beer and Wine Festival. Now that all the final tallies are in, we want to take a moment to look back and extend a massive THANK YOU to everyone who made this year’s event an overwhelming success!

From craft beverage enthusiasts and talented local musicians to our incredible volunteers, sponsors, and organizers—your energy, hard work, and passion turned this year’s festival into one of our most successful yet.

Established in 2014 as a nonprofit organization by community-minded individuals, Oaktree Academy was founded to fulfill a critical local need for childcare services. The academy provides a continuum of safe, high-quality, and affordable childcare where local children reach the essential developmental and emotional milestones needed to thrive.

A newly released ALICE report paints a clearer picture of the financial challenges facing households across Michigan. While poverty statistics often receive the most attention, the report shows that many Michigan families who are working and earning above the federal poverty level are still struggling to afford basic necessities.

United Way of the West Shore is helping create lasting change across Mason and Manistee Counties by strengthening youth opportunity, healthy communities, financial security, and community resiliency through local partnerships and community-driven support.
